The pattern is the most crucial part of design development. We ensure that the patterns accurately reflect your ideas and your design identity. We also understand that everyone has different fit requirements for their garments, so we work closely with you to ensure the final patterns suit your needs. Upon completion you can choose to receive your patterns in a range of file formats. During the pattern making process we will generate digital simulations and renderings of your garments. These can be turned into 3d animations and be provided to you for promotional material or anything else you may need them for.

The pattern making software we use is called Clo3d. This is a 3d based garment design system. During the pattern making process the garments are simulated with every individual pattern change. While simulating the pattern, the fabric you are using will be applied to ensure the pattern behaves as needed. These renderings can be turned into video-turntable animations, static images and runway animations. The renderings will be provided upon request and are great for promotional material, as well as for visualising the look of the pattern with different fabrics and the way the garment behaves when the digital model walks and poses.

Pattern grading is a very specific task that varies from client to client. Grading is tailored to the client with the ability to use a standard grade or to create a custom grade with the client. Grading is available in a standard 4-size nest, with additional sizes if you require. The service is charged per piece and at the conclusion of the service you will receive the appropriate specification sheets.

Industry standard technical illustrations involve considering all required design features and presenting them in a clear, accurate and recognisable way. Our technical illustration drawings are provided individually as well as in presentation styles that you require.

Our tech packs are built to go straight to your manufacturer. Every document is production-ready and includes everything a manufacturer needs to bring your garment to life: callout sheets, measurement charts and a full Bill of Materials (BOM). Because every project is different, this service is fully flexible. Use it as a standalone or bundle it with our pattern development and design services for end-to-end support from concept to production.
